This is a great place to stay for exploring Hanging Rock State Park. Tucked away and a peaceful setting for slowing down and enjoying the outdoors. Awesome black night sky for star gazing.
This property was unique and comfortable. We enjoyed the repurposing of materials throughout the cabin. The surroundings were beautiful and natural! We enjoyed listening to and identifying birds on the property.
Great cabin to spend the weekend, completely private, cozy and made us feel right at home. A proper outdoor bonfire and barbecue, covered dining. The property owner was incredibly accommodating and made sure everything was good,.
Exactly as described and wonderfully furnished. This stay was the exact type of escape we needed! Watching DVD’s with the kids and making smores at the campfire made memories we will remember. Thank you!
Clean and nicely furnished. In a beautiful location 10min from Hanging Rock State Park. The fire pit/ grill area is the perfect hangout spot. Excellent communication by the owners. Highly recommended.
Rustic surroundings in very pretty area. Lots of necessary cooking items and very hot shower. The front porch is awesome and peaceful . Only suggestion is provide some board games.
Me and my friend loved the property. We specifically enjoyed the below.- How secluded the property is. You're deep in the woods with no neighbors- Proximity to Hanging Rock state park for afternoon hiking- Roasting sausages over the fire in the outdoor area at night- How comfy our beds were- The well stocked kitchen for breakfast cooking- Hosts were always available to answer questions
This cabin is minutes from Hanging Rock State Park, which was the reason for our visit so very convenient. This cabin was SO cozy! We love how the reclaimed materials were used to restore this cabin, it was rustic but had modern touches too. It was very clean which is #1 for me. There is no wifi, but we had enough phone signal if we needed it and our family enjoyed watching movies together after hiking. Would definitely stay here again!
Charming, rustic cabin with hotel touches. Nice amount of living space with comfortable furniture and big dining table. Not the most child-friendly due to chairs that tip easily and the steep ravine lot, but a pleasant get-away for adults or older kids.
Someone put a lot of thought into making this cabin comfortable and accommodating but keeping all of the rustic charm that people like me want in a mountain getaway! LOVE
The cabin was quite cozy. The air-conditioning worked well, and it had plenty of hot water in the shower. The beds were very comfortable, and the libing room had a nice layout.
The cabin was cozy and clean but it had a very big spider issue. Lots of big ones...probably the largest we've ever seen, so that freaked us out a bit!! We did run out of trash bags since only one was left for us. And, we couldn't find the back porch light plug in spot or where to plug in the decorative lights around the back porch. The location is VERY remote which was nice, but there isn't anything around, get your groceries before making your way to the cabin. We did have a great time and the decor fit the area...wish the seating was a little more comfy because we spent a lot of time at the cabin.
