"Kitchen was nicely stocked with all needed items to cook your own meals. Beautiful gas fireplace in main living room. Bedrooms spacious and beds very comfortable bathrooms had so many amenities included. Very clean and cozy. There were 6 adults from Michigan and Missouri that reunited for some laughs and games. Perfect setting for this adventure, and would be perfect for families with young children. Jason was excellent with communication. Always a quick response We would absolutely stay here again! Perfect location for the nearby State Parks - Matthiesen and Starved Rock "

"Overall we had a very nice experience. However, the lighting in our room was too dark. Definitely needed better lamps with brighter bulbs. Missing shampoo and soap for the shower. The waterpark was nice but seemed very dark. The bottom of all the pools was brown instead of a nice blue that you would expect so it made the water look dirty. It wasn’t dirty but it looked that way. Food was very expensive in Jack’s restaurant but reasonable in the cafe but it had a limited menu. Snack bar in the waterpark was open but nothing was working so you couldn’t purchase anything."
