"We enjoyed our stay at this resort. The staff was great, the property was clean the room was spacious with very comfortable beds. They have a water park with a lazy river and wave pool and kiddie slides. The lobby is very nice, with a restaurant, bar and a coffee shop on site. We went during low season, so a lot of the amenities were closed and the water park is open Thursday through Sunday until Memorial Day weekend when all amenities will open. The cons- while the room was clean and spacious, don’t book a balcony room. The balcony rooms are facing the back of the resort and it’s just an open lot, super dark at night and a million carpenter bees harassing you. They don’t have chairs to sit nor screen on the sliding door. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony at all, it was terrible. Overall, we will definitely stay again but will not book a balcony until they fix that back lot and put something for people to look at other than bees and when they install screen doors as well."

"Overall, nice and comfortable. However, we had some issues ... 1) Problems with locking and unlocking the dead bolt. We had to force the door handle up and out while locking, which didn't always work (dead bolt needs to be adjusted). 2) Upper-level toilet is clogged and plunger didn't work (it was clogged before we even used it and not sure that anyone ever checked that during cleaning). Some sinks even drained slowly. 3) We were unaware that charcoal grills and BBQ'n just outside the condo was not allowed, so had to go elsewhere to a designated area outside of the resort (Matthiessen Park) to BBQ, which was inconvenient. Warning: do not leave BBQ grills outside (even is not in use) to avoid possible fines. Communication with the host was excellent. He was able to have our grills moved into the condo while we were hiking at Starved Rock State Park to avoid getting fined (yes, even if the grills are not being used). There were check-out procedures, which were good, but no check-in procedures that we could find. That would have helped, such as no outdoor BBQ'n allowed and how to force the front door up and very tight to the frame in order to get it to lock on the first attempt."

"Aneta’s place was perfect for our family of four. We loved the close proximity to the parks. It was updated, decorated nicely, and very clean. The living area had plenty of seating for 4 adults to comfortably sit. Kitchen was well stocked. Would recommend for sure."

"Kitchen was nicely stocked with all needed items to cook your own meals. Beautiful gas fireplace in main living room. Bedrooms spacious and beds very comfortable bathrooms had so many amenities included. Very clean and cozy. There were 6 adults from Michigan and Missouri that reunited for some laughs and games. Perfect setting for this adventure, and would be perfect for families with young children. Jason was excellent with communication. Always a quick response We would absolutely stay here again!
