"We had the sweetest stay at Postcard Cabins near Starved Rock. The setting was peaceful and the views were beautiful — exactly the quiet reset we needed. We loved relaxing by the campfire and really appreciated all the thoughtful amenities: coffee, hot cocoa, oatmeal, water, and plenty of firewood. The bed was super comfortable and the whole cabin felt cozy and well cared for. It was a perfect getaway with my husband and we’re already planning to come back."

This place is full of false advertising. They have an extra hidden fee that they don’t show online that they force you to pay when you rent a room here. Second of all they advertise that they have smoke free rooms, which they don’t. I booked a smoke free room and was given a smoking room. When I complained at the desk , the employee worker became super aggressive and started threatening me, and was yelling at me. This is the worst place I have ever...

"This is the best Super 8 I’ve stayed. It’s as good as a more budget-oriented Marriott chain. Ottawa is also a beautiful town with a pretty state park nearby. I went here back in 2020 and found the motel great. I decided to stay here again when driving to the eastern US from Colorado. I’m stopping here again when I’m driving back to the Denver area."
