"Absolutely amazing setting! We stayed in the ‘museum’ part. Gorgeous gardens. According to my husband, ‘a cross between faded elegance and somewhat abandoned. Big room with a 4 poster bed, high ceilings and solid wooden shutters. "

"The housekeeping staff was the absolute highlight of this stay, they would leave the room spotless and fresh when asked. The hotel itself though is under major renovations and being on vacation in a place with constant drilling, banging, and movement of large pieces of wood and other materials should be made transparent to customers.
