"This place is really bad value for money. There were clumps of dust in the bathroom, the fixtures hadn't been updated in decades. The breakfast was awful. Nobody manning the front desk. The Japanese tatami room and the onsen were OK but these were the only redeeming factors in an otherwise totally disappointing stay. I was expecting much, much more for the price we paid. If it was 50% cheaper, it would've been barely worth it."

"Friendly staff, quiet room and great amenities (free apple juice, tea, water and coffee in the rooms). This hotel is close to Nagano station and lots of restaurants and shops."

"I enjoyed my stay here. Hotel is right opposite Nagano station, and very close to the shopping and dining district. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. No microwave available to heat your food, but there is a 7/11 close by for that. Bed was comfortable and a nice sized TV mounted at the base to watch shows. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Nagano."
