"It’s a steal location for nature lovers, tree huggers and general lovers of good service. The rooms are excellently laid out and have a super selection of drinks, hot chocolate, tea,coffees. The Bathrooms look and feel modern and have a high standard of fixtures and fittings. Very hard to find fault with this venue as Lucy and all the staff without exception go out of their way to please and accommodate your stay without being intrusive or overbearing. The drive from the main road is very private and in the thick of the New Forest, surrounded by very mature Oaks. The wildlife is all around, Wild ponies, Donkeys, Deer are abundant."

Rhinefield House Hotel

"Rhinefield House is in the most beautiful setting. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the gorgeous surroundings and the outdoor pool is a wonderful bonus in warm weather. Right on the doorstep is the New Forest and is within easy travelling distance of the coast, with Lymington being a particularly lovely spot. We had excellent food with two restaurants to choose from. We had a perfect weekend."

Balmer Lawn Hotel

"We had a nice stay at Balmer Lawn. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a country retreat feel to it and isn't too large, giving a lovely independent feel to it. The breakfast was very good. Although the hotel could do nothing about the hot weather, the lack of air conditioning in our room was an unfortunate negative making for an uncomfortable night's sleep (even with the fan provided). The staff had already provided a fan in the room and opened all the windows for us but with a westerly facing room, the afternoon/evening sun was making our room very hot. Overall a nice stay, just a shame that a four star hotel had no air conditioning in the bedrooms."
