"A lovely small hotel with bar only 10 mins walk from the centre .Although no food allowed in the room. There is a pleasant covered area at the back of the hotel where we picnicked both days. The rooms are practical and clean."

Decent accommodations, with the givens of walking up and down numerous stairs, dark hallways, etc. Personnel there ranges from: exceptionally sweet young woman - who carried our heavy suitcases up two steep stairs (no elevator) - to a very unfriendly male. "We loved our stay, located a lovely 5 minute walk across the picturesque bridge from Chinon and it’s castle, this family owned and operated B&B was just what our family (2 adults, 2 children) needed. Clean room, excellent breakfast and very helpful hosts. Parking is quite easy even if it seems unlikely at first."
