Golf Hotels in Hung Yen Province

"I am quite surprised that this hotel has such a high rating. In my opinion, it is comparable to a crappy Days Inn in North America. The breakfast menu was not bad but the ambience of the restaurant is very poor. You also have to get out of the hotel and walk 2 mins to another hotel for breakfast. The staff is mostly a symbolic presence and will do the absolute bare minimum to help you. Our experience in other parts of Vietnam was phenomenal and we didn't expect this poor service. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of the old quarter. My bedroom was beautifully appointed (albeit a little dark having no external windows). Breakfast was amazing - great buffet selection plus an additional menu to order from. I stayed three nights and had dinner twice in the restaurant because the food was so good and the restaurant was relaxing with a lovely ambiance and stunning views of St Joseph’s church. Two members of staff deserve particular mention. Grace, on reception, checked me in but she “went the extra mile”. On my first night when I was unsure of where I was going she sent me a WhatsApp message to check if I was ok and if I needed any assistance. The second day of my stay she contacted me again. Jack - the general manager - came looking for me before I departed to speak to me about my experience and give me a gift to remember the hotel by. This was such a lovely personal touch. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to future travellers to Hanoi. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay so memorable. "

"This is an honest review and i booked this hotel on all the so called 5 star reviews. First the hotel is not in a good location at all. There are no restaurants to speak of, just local food stalls that did not look clean to eat. There was trash all over the streets. We soon discovered there are better areas in the old quarter to stay in. The rooms were small and we paid extra for a city view and we were viewing a slum area. The breakfast was avaverage at best, but the staff was really nice. I cannot recommend this hotel based on location and deceiving pictures of hotel onExpedia."
