"the hotel is nice and clean, it is located up in the mountain overviewing the lake. we got the duplex on two floors apartment for the 4 of us. the size of the apartment is ok. breakfast was very good with a lot of variety of choices, you can even ask for more choices that are not on the buffet. I personally prefer to Stay in the city (Interlaken) for future trips and I would find a hotel closer to the lake for better view and for the fact that the drive up and down to the hotel was Not EASY,...

"We are family of 9, got 2 rooms with 2 bedrooms each. Spacious, clean, quiet and the full kitchen was very convenient. The view on the terrace was amazing. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Luggage storage was available for us. One thing, no available guest service after 9 so be mindful not to misplace your key cards. It happened to us, luckily we had another room to spend the night. But otherwise everything was great and we would come back again."

"Bus was every 30mins, a little bit of a walk from train station, not a lot of restaurant or store to choose from. Staff were very nice. It's an old hotel, bed and floor makes creaky sound. Understand no airconditioner so you open the window but staff smokes outside and it goes to your room. Breakfast was good! "

"Great, quaint hotel for our stay in Interlaken. Staff is friendly and helpful and we especially enjoyed the departing gift. The hotel is located conveniently within walking distance of downtown but just off the main drive so was more quiet. Breakfast with the espresso/coffee maker was also an added bonus. Definitely recommend Hotel Derby! "
