"The room was fine -- small, but clean. On the downside the bed was hard, and there was a fair amount of noise. There is no air conditioning or heater -- but the weather was moderate. The hotel is within close walking distance to the city center. But on the much bigger plus side, is that on both days my Expedia booked tour companies let me down, but the caring staff at Chankana Hotel (Hostel) went above and beyond to help salvage my entire trip! "Close to airport but in a very sketchy neighborhood. The woman at the desk was wonderful! There are no restaurants around but you can order pizza. Hotel has beer and soda to buy. Was ok but way overpriced."

First time in Peru, and Adolfo's certainly made it a memorable visit. The accommodation is down a little alley but is on a busy road and within short walking distance to supermarket, Plaza Mayor & San Pedro market. The staff were super lovely. Despite not having perfect English we still got the best customer service. The included breakfast is perfect for acclimatizing. So simple but satisfying.
