"We loved our stay here. Really nice hotel, all the amenities you could possibly need. Very helpful staff. Perfect location. Breakfast was fantastic as well. Would recommend to anyone."

"The staff was helpful at all times. The room was neat and the bedding (pillows and sheets) comfortable. I had read about the noise around the property but I assumed that it would be applicable for all nearby buildings, so I gave it a try. I rate a 4/5 because of the noisy area, literally a karaoke is diagonal to the hotel and despite the mountain view, the nights weren’t restful. The breakfast was generally good, served from 5 am to 8:30 am, sadly around 7 things start to run out like eggs, potatoes, sausages, and there isn’t refill so we had to choose from what is left. The mini pancakes were our favorite, very tasty, much better than the bread. The check-in and check-out was easy. We appreciated it because we left super early for the train back!"

"Had a great stay at Rock Rivers. The staff also coordinated with my girlfriend to surprise me with Peruvian wine, cake, and a decorated room for my birthday when we arrived. We arrived very late (around 9p) and were quickly checked in. The rooms are clean and warm. The free breakfast is a great benefit. Had an enjoyable stay here!"

"Perfect location, nice rooms, sauna/spa was helpful after a lot of hiking Two real complaints First, the room doors were super thin, so we could hear everything going on on our floor and in the town, basically all night long Second, the food on-site wasn't quite what we were hoping for, could have used higher quality burgers and wings (both of which were hyper processed, not fresh at all) Minor point - we agreed to pay extra to check-out late (fine, that's not exactly unfair) But when the property ran out of hot water that morning, and the whole point of late checkout was kind of lost (so we could shower after visiting Machu Picchu), they stuck to their guns and charged us extra. Would have been a good time to refund the extra charge."

This high-end boutique hotel delivered exceptional, high-touch service from start to finish — they anticipated every need and made our trip feel effortless and special. Highlights: • Perfect location right by the train station and river in Aguas Calientes • Seamless train arrival with bag escort service • Delicious lunches to go for Machu Picchu • Outstanding Pisco Sour mixology class • Amazing breakfast buffet and the best dinners we had in the area (with a great wine menu too) • Staff happily handled all custom requests Special thanks to Cesar, Sandy, and Nilton for their warm, attentive, and incredible service — they really made our stay unforgettable.
