"This hotel ia gem 💎....very nice hotel with a swimming pool and cascade. Very clean and well decorated. It s located well outside Kandy and which was great after the visit of Kandy town with all the traffic and noises. Coming back to the hotel was so relaxing . The room is quite big and very clean. I highly recommend that hotel. And the staff to please you."

The food at the hotel was outstanding and by far the best buffets we had during our trip to Sri Lanka and definitely the best hoppers. The hotel is built into a rock. Some areas felt a little dated in decor and check in was a bit slow but this could be due to the large numbers of people staying at the hotel. "First thing first... This is a HOMESTAY! Meaning you will be staying in their house. If that is what you want then you will be happy. The guy that runs the place is very nice. He does however want to be around you all the time. As for the rooms, you get what you pay for works here, they are very basic. 2 plug ins, 1 worked, 1 shocked me. Went to make tea, opened the sugar jar up and noticed it was actually an ant colony living in the sugar. Breakfast was delicious, home made rotti and eggs...
