The room was spacious. Good linen sheets changed daily. Fixtures and fittings are old now. Stained lampshades, bathroom wood loose on sink unit Gardens as always are SUPERBLY KEPT Pool is lovely although loungers are often reserved with towels by people who don’t show up. This was a real problem for us as I disabled in our group. Staff when consulted just shrugged shoulders Food is very average. Repetitive and bland. Tea and coffee tasteless. Massage staff are SUPERB and caring

Property was beautiful, very quiet. Room was not the renovated side with the big bathtub (was lovely to soak in, but think i broke my toe when tryin to get in) and i did ask for a walk in shower. I did like that there was a side entrance as i don't/can't do stairs.

Incredible in every way. Vila Shanti is a hidden gem along a beautiful stretch of beach that is complimented by the most amazing, kind and attentive staff who call you by name and treat you like a lifelong friend from the moment you arrive until they send you off with hopes of seeing you again soon.

Vila Shanti has well kept gardens & some staff are very helpful & others are not.The bathroom in the room we had needed renovating it smelt terrible. We have stayed there maybe 6 times but the vibe has changed this will be our last time there.

Perfectly located on Sanur beach, great with the walking path and for jogging. Many people walking and running, myself included. Many options for food on the beach or the road behind. Lovely staff, quiet and very respectful of your space. Respectful of noise, i heard no noise when in my room. No street noise, nothing Perfect 3 star hotel, great price, great location you wouldn’t know the staff were there, but it was evident with the attention to detail. Little pixies x I was welcomed, even though i was a day early at 3am!! Many thanks, sorry i woke you.

We really liked this hotel in many ways - it’s very near the centre and walkable to the night market and lots of great food options. It’s pretty and quiet, with the option of cheap massages by the pool and a lovely bit of beach you can snorkel off. The rooms are plain but clean and ours had fridges, good air con and nice balconies. The cleaners in the rooms were very nice My only complaint is I booked for five people with Expedia, (three adults two children) and I had my booking clearly printed out that said one room was for two people and the other for three and that I had paid in full. However the hotel insisted I had only booked for four people and had to pay for an extra bed. When I queried this, rather than offering to check the Expedia booking they acted as though I was in the wrong , at one point chasing me down at the pool to insist I had agreed to paying extra when I hadn’t. I paid extra in the end but the whole thing ruined my first morning, and I have booked rooms for three or four people many times before and never been forced to pay extra on arrival before, so it puts me off recommending. If you do book a room for three, be warned they might make you pay another £20 a night extra when you get there

On arrive we found our room to be a bit dark and the doors, although beautiful, had a 2 inch gap either side which concerned me due to the mosquitos that had bitten us in the previous location. I made my concerns known and we were offered a new room which instantly felt better. The staff were amazing about this and it did not seem to be a problem at all. The room was a good size for us two and our teenage son. Cleaned each day, with fresh towels and three bottles of water were left in the room each day, such an great addition. The breakfast was very good each morning. The pool was great as was the beach allocated for the hotel guests. Pool/beach towels are provided each day. Massages available by the pool also. The location in Sanur was perfect, plenty of restaurants, shops, stalls and bikes to hire close by. The people of Bali are absolutely amazing. We would recommend and would stay again.

Nice spot on Sanur Beach

Fantastic position on the beach. Genuine Bali feel to the hotel. They are renovating rooms at the moment. Only complaint the bed was extremely hard, perhaps put some mattress toppers on for comfort. We didn’t have breakfast, although we found a rate later that included it for less money, so was annoying
