Great location directly across from Icon Bali with access to the Beachwalk. Room was large enough to accommodate all our luggage. Pool area was pretty, surrounded by statues and plants/flowers. Breakfast was a serve yourself mini buffet, which was pleasant. Area was clean, all staff were very helpful. Bed was comfortable and even the pillows were, we travel with our own and didn’t even use them as the ones provided were so nice. Great areas to dry your beach towels and bathing suits. Each room had a nice sitting area outside the main door.

A nice affordable place on the strip in Sanur close to tons of nice restaurants and bars and of course the amazing beach just a short walk from there. Friendly staff, a nice little courtyard pool and a decent breakfast buffet.

Absolutely fantastic stay, staff were wonderful and the room was an upgrade to the one booked which was amazing. Despite the 24 hour work on the new Bali Icon it didn’t affect my stay. Great location and although the breakfast was basic having eggs anyway you wanted was a real win

A comfortable excellent value Hotel.

Apart from the street noise I had an enjoyable stay. The noise was quite loud,but I wasn’t bothered by it.I never inquired about shifting rooms. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

A lovely quiet little place in great location with only a few minutes walk to the beach. The staff are very pleasant and caring. Breakfast is not smorgasbord but sufficient and there is always someone there to cook you eggs anyway you want. The pool is lovely but a bit warm…..I guess they can’t help that with the beautiful weather we had during our 8 day stay. Soon the massive Icon Complex will be completed and that is directly across the road so I’m sure that will be a very positive thing for Swastika Guesthouse guests.

Friendly staff and cheap, but run-down and smells

Pros: genuinely kind staff, great value for money, Android TV. New restaurant was good (re-opened during our stay). Cons: bathroom smell was a showstopper (we couldn't change room, so moved to another hotel), constant noise from construction, pool had strong chemicals. WiFi was patchy.

Good location and good services

We like the convenience of the hotel. It's just across the street to Icon Bali Shopping Mall that gives easy access to the beach and many restaurants. The price of the hotel includes breakfast that was very yummy. The breakfasts are in Asian and Western styles which meet every taste. Every guest could have 2 eggs made to their liking. We really appreciate all the hotel staff who were so nice and work so hard to meet the needs of the guests. The only thing I don't like about is the bathroom. It's old and didn't have much counter to put things or even hang our towels. The AC was leaking the water into the cabinet next to the bathroom. We couldn't hang our clothes in the cabinet. Our next door neighbour smoked in the cover area outside their room. The hotel should have non-smoke sign near the hotel rooms. Smoking should be only in open area.

Get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for. It was a good price. One thing that would be really nice is a place to hang the bath towel in the bathroom. No towel bar or hook or nothing. The air-conditioning unit didn't seem to work so well. Fairly quiet place and typical Balanese friendliness.

Very conveniently situated opposite the new Icon Mall. Great value for money with very friendly and helpful staff. Bed was very comfortable with white clean linen with bar fridge and coffee, tea facilities. Shower in bath a bit unsafe and might need support handle to prevent slipping
