We had a really lovely stay and the quaint Palm Garden Hotel. It’s better in real life rhyan the photos portray. Slightly quirky and a little old fashioned in places, but the staff were lovely and the gardens and pool area really well kept. It’s right the the middle of the best bits of Sanur and a short walk to the shops and beach front.

Good budget hotel

Great hotel for price, location amenities and staff. Room cleaned every day and nice pool to have a dip in. It's a really good value accommodation in the heart of Sanur.

This hotel is in a lovely area, the gardens are pretty and the breakfast was yummy. In the room, the bed was very comfortable but, the bathroom was so old and tired, as were the towels. The room could do with an overhaul.

Clean nice looking property. Staff pleasant but had no need for any help questions etc so only brief encounters. Had to run water for ages before it got hot hate wasting water. Pool temp just right attractive setting lacking shade Was quiet time we were there

I love everything about Palm Gardens the staff, the gardens, the rooms are huge and comfortable the location is spot on. I’ve stayed 3 times so far and have another stay planned.

Booked three weeks, checked out after 2 days and requested refund. Hotel and Expedia still advertise having a restaurant but it no longer exists. The hotel owner sold restaurant. Rooms are dirty and very dated. Staff are nice. They keep asking Chinese owner to do upgrades but he refuses. Hotel was decent enough to give refund for remaining weeks because staff know the hotel needs work.

We liked the staff and the walkability to the beach and main streets, easy access to lots of restaurants. We knew the room was Bali "old style" which we like but the ground floor room C4 we had was not pleasant. There was no duvet, just a top sheet with two awful mismatched, ancient orange blankets. The fridge was old and looked it, the door was rusty and it needed defrosting, just overall it was a grubby room. Not sure what the other rooms were like but the hotel was full so its a popular place. We had friends that had stayed there previously and they liked it, so maybe COVID has had an impact. Its a shame because its in a fabulous spot and the staff were lovely. We didn't complain, it is what it is and we had paid when we arrived. If they changed the bedding, cleaned the bathrooms up it would be a gamechange.
