"We booked the suite since we were a group of 5. The suite had 3 rooms so we would have been quite comfortable but due to change of plans it was just us 3. "Overall positive experience from this property. Pros: Beautiful cabin in a great location on the Ausable River. Close enough to all of the things you would need or want from your stay while also giving you the privacy you're looking for. Cons: I believe the cleaner did not do a thorough cleaning of the master bedroom which was disappointing. We had to re-wash all of the bedding upon our arrival."

"We were only at the house for an overnight stop on a trip to Montreal. House was clean and the hot tub was nice. We couldn't get the sauna to work. The worst thing was the plastic mattress pads on all the beds. They were horrible. Made noise every time you moved and made sleeping extremely hot. I've stayed at a number of houses, and this is first time I've experienced anything like this. Other than that, it was a nice place. "

"Our stay to view the totality of the eclipse on 4/8/24 was outstanding. The clouds cooperated and the view from the deck was perfect to watch the moon's slow march across the face of the sun - and then to be plunged into darkness surrounded by the trees and mountains was otherworldly. The house was neat, clean, and had everything we wanted or needed. Marty and Melissa were the perfect hosts with super easy and fast communication. We would love to stay again even without an eclipse!"

"If you look at the listing and say 'wow, this place sounds great!' then you're exactly right. We had a group of 13 for four nights, and it was the perfect place for us. Derek was an excellent host and answered all of our questions and gave some great recommendations. Only problem was that there were just too many fun things to do.
