"Good location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. Very good value for the cost."
"Comfortable, clean accommodation, great breakfast and a welcoming host. Car parking and being within walking distance of the city are real plus points."
"We stopped here for a Spitfires game for our young fella and to be honest wasn’t expecting much - but we were incredibly pleasantly surprised!! This place is exceptional, easy to find, easy to access and staff instructions were friendly and easy to follow. This is a great stay! "
"The property is very nice. It was a walkable distance from shops and lunch. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The rooms was great for my son and myself."
"Pros: conveniently located, good breakfast, hot water with good pressure, mini fridge for drinks or meals.
Cons: smaller bed than reserved, no phone in rooms for service support, the employee who checked us in was short (almost rude), difficult elevator operation to ground floor, "

"This is one of the best value for money rooms in canterbury. We had a free breakfast included which was superb. You get a free visit to the cathedral included, which would otherwise be £20 per person. The location is perfect and you have a lovely view of the cathedral from the lodge. "
"A lovely quirky hotel in an ideal location. It was spotless, comfortable and the staff were all very helpful. It was lovely to walk (safely!) across the roof to go to breakfast, admiring the view of the cathedral. The only downside was traffic noise but that is obviously to be expected if you stay in a hotel in the centre of a vibrant city."
"The room was very nice, with no extra room to unpack clothing. The bed was comfortable. The shower was one of the largest and nicest we had compared to the other places we stayed.
The full English breakfast was great and plentiful."
"Really enjoyed my two night stay at this hotel, the staff were friendly, helpful and professional, the room was very clean and bed comfortable. Amazing that a buffet breakfast was imcludes in the price too, and pizza availabre 24/7 for an additional cost, and other items on the menu including vegan options."
