The best area to stay in Daisy, Arkansas, is near the heart of the town, particularly around the junction of Highway 70 and Highway 27, where most of the limited amenities are located.

This central area, while small, provides the most convenient access to local points of interest. You'll find the general store and a couple of local eateries here, making it a practical base for exploring the surrounding natural beauty. It's a quiet, rural setting, great for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle.

For couples seeking a relaxing getaway, staying near the Little Missouri River or the Cossatot River State Park-Natural Area offers direct access to outdoor activities like fishing, kayaking, and hiking. The focus here is on the natural environment, providing a tranquil setting away from any town centre.

Families might find staying in a cabin or lodge slightly outside the main crossroads, closer to the Crater of Diamonds State Park, to be ideal. This allows for easy morning access to the park for diamond searching and provides a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration.

The best time to go to Daisy, Arkansas, is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

During spring, the weather is pleasantly mild, with temperatures typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C. This period is ideal for outdoor activities as the local flora is in full bloom, making it a beautiful time to explore the natural surroundings. It's also when the Crater of Diamonds State Park is particularly inviting, as you can enjoy diamond searching without the intense heat of summer.

Autumn also offers comfortable temperatures, generally between 10°C and 20°C, and the landscape is adorned with rich fall colours. This season is great for couples looking for a picturesque getaway, perhaps enjoying scenic drives through the Ouachita Mountains or hiking the trails around Lake Greeson.
