"Too far from hanoi. When we checked in, no front desk, just the guard who hardly speak English. Unable to turn on heater as no instructions when we got in later."
"This was one of the most confusing stays I have ever had, firstly communication from the park was great at first and then more and more and more.. the contact loves a good information flood on WhatsApp
So I thought I had all the information I could need, but quickly realised I actually knew nothing.
Google does not tell you much about the resort apart from poor reviews on restaurants, but I could not find a mart, shops, anything really? There is no information about the resort available, I...
"This hotel likely had not been stayed at in at least a year. The owner was also not aware we were coming after we had made the Expedia booking. He was very kind and made it work, but this hotel, as well as the entire neighborhood around it, is completely run down and looks as if the town was shut down a decade ago. All the surrounding buildings are overgrown by the jungle, boats are half sunk into the lake, no restaurants open except two a long walk away and it appears it's only for locals and...
"Er meget charmerende ældre hotel med de mest hjælpsomme værter
Det bedste brusebad jeg længe har fået endelig med vand nok
Til prisen super godt langt bedre end forventet"
"Property is located in a back alley of a grimy area just outside the international airport. Very much a two, maybe two and a half star place. But, it was very clean and the people were nice."
"For a cheap style hotel located on the far outskirts of Hanoi it was surprisingly good. The rooms are large, air-conditioned and have two big double beds (hard matresses) and a small private bathroom (a bit run down but good hot water). Room even has a smart TV....but that's about it.
Located in a very quiet street but very limited food options, especially after dark. We used it as a stop over from Cat Ba to SaPa which was ideal. Much better than the over populated and way too busy Hanoi Old...
"The real location of the hotel was different from the hotels dot com map. I was having difficult finding the correct location with several taxi drivers… The owner of the hotel kept asking me if the hotel fee was fully paid. I continued to say “yes”. She said it should one bed. But I said I paid for two beds. She finally gave me two bed but without balcony and with a small room. I paid about 130 USD for the smelly and tiny room. Please see the attached pictures. These pictures are totally...

"We stayed 2 nights when we arrived in Hanoi and then another night when we returned from Sapa. They held our suitcases for us. The hotel is ideally located in the old quarter. Our Balcony room was spacious and very well equipped. The staff is very dedicated and attentive. The breakfast is great, everything is there, even homemade yogurts. Recommend Royal Palace without hesitation. Thank you all for your welcome and your kindness.

"Great hotel with very helpful staff. Clean, modern rooms with great comfort. A true gem in the city, a little north of the Old Quarter. Hanoi is a noisy city, so please keep this in mind, but This does not affect thus great hotel."
"Check In Good, Staff friendly, Room is big and clean. Breakfast is good, Housekeeping is really good. Location is also good. Only issue is upper-level construction that starts at 9AM. "
"We booked a 3-bedroom executive suite for our stay. Hotel is new and beautifully furnished in modern designs. Suite is palatial and very clean and tidy. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel! "
"Fantastic base for Hanoi.
While it is a 30min taxi from the old quarter, it has resort style accom for a family of five. Very good two bedroom suite for family of five. The king bed is spacious and can sleep comfortably 2adults and seven year old.
Laundry and kitchenette available.
Poolside and gym are a great way to relax unwind from the hectic tourist trail.
Staff are very obliging - helpful.

"Great hotel in Hanoi. Dining options galore. Amazing staff. Mall on site and other shopping options near by. Ample rooms and comfy beds. As usual, Lotte is synonym with satisfaction. "
