"My stay was great but when I arrived I was told about the breakfast and what the time frame was but when I got there, I was told it was going to cost us $17.99, I figure being in a suite with a balcony was all I was paying for, for the price I paid; At least Breakfast could have been Complimentary Thank you! "After our flight from Houston to Newark was canceled due to severe weather, my elderly parents and I unexpectedly had to spend the night in Houston. What could have been a very stressful situation turned into a much smoother experience thanks to Bailee at the front desk of the Houston Airport Marriott. From the moment we arrived, Bailee was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She made the check-in process easy, offered us the option to upgrade, and helped us get access to the Marriott M Club, which made our stay much more comfortable after a long day of travel. Since I was traveling with my elderly parents, she also helped arrange wheelchair service for the next day so we could get back to the IAH terminal without any trouble. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was throughout the entire interaction. She even wrote us a sweet note thanking us for staying at the hotel, which was such a kind and personal touch. Travel disruptions can be overwhelming, especially when traveling with elderly family members, but Bailee’s warmth and professionalism made a huge difference for us. My parents and I are very grateful for her help and hospitality. Marriott is lucky to have someone like her representing the brand."

"The front desk clerk at check in was extremely rude. When she put us down for the shuttle to the airport she never asked how many people, I thought she was using the number of people in the room, come to find out she only put us down for 1 person taking the shuttle. Thank goodness the morning staff was able to get us all on even if it was a tight squeeze. We reserved a king suit with a sofa bed, however were put into a regular king room. When I inquired about it I was told it wasn’t her problem and the room I had booked was no longer available, no apology, no offer to change rooms, nothing just a rude I have customers in line behind you I need to get checked in comment over and over. The day time staff was much more pleasant to interact with and they actually were willing to help with the shuttle mishap. The room was decent, the hotel it’s self was in ok condition considering its location, and we left to early to say anything about any other amenities the hotel had to offer. "
