Check in was quick and easy. We stayed here for a football game at Prairie View A&M.The beds were a little lumpy, but I slept well and appreciated the two kids of pillows offered (soft/firm). The bathroom was stocked with all Dove products. The in room coffee bar was stocked with everything needed for cup of coffee to go. I didn’t try the breakfast buffet, but I did see some of the pastries offered, and they looked tasty. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a close, clean, and convenient option.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the location was extremely convenient (just four minutes from my event), the overall experience was underwhelming for the price. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, which I appreciated. However, the hallways on the second floor had a strong, distinctive odor that was hard to ignore, and unfortunately, my room had a similar issue. It smelled musty, almost like there was mold in the walls. The shower water never got very hot, the pressure was low, and the temperature didn't stay warm for long. Additionally, despite setting the air conditioner to a low temperature and high fan speed, the room remained humid, making it uncomfortable. If someone chooses to stay here, I'd recommend bringing an air purifier or something to help with the air quality. I haven't stayed at other hotels in Waller, so I can't compare, but if I revisit the area, I will likely opt to drive a little farther for better accommodation. Overall, I'd rate this hotel 2 to 3 stars.

Not a very good experience.

This was a horrible experience. I stayed here on business. We arrived that night, exhausted and the smell in the room was bad, we were so exhausted we attempted to deal with it untill the morning but even with a sheet over my head I was gagging the entire night and barely felt rested the next morning for my training. I contacted the front desk about the unbearable stench in the room and she assured me she would move us to another room later that afternoon. After training I checked back and was moved to a cleaner room, she even let me walk in to it to see if it was acceptable and sure enough there were no foul scents. I was ready for a well-rested night in our new room and everything was great until I was rudely awakened at 4:00 a.m. by someone drilling into what sounded like the walls or flooring. Needless to say, I did not get one night of rest in this place. The smell of cigarettes, rotten food and sewer in the first room was completely unbearable and having maintenance work in other rooms in the wee hours of the morning as guests are sleeping is absurd. The young lady at the front desk was a sweetheart, and that's the best thing about this place. She was very helpful. Unfortunately,when I come back on business I will not be staying here again.

Missing toiletries

Check-in was quick, no issues. Hotel common areas and hallways were clean. The room was clean and comfortable. My stay was for 6 nights, Monday to Sunday. I did not need the room cleaned until Thursday and it was really just for additional toilet paper and Kleenex. However, those were the only two (2) items I did not get renewed. I had to go back down to the front desk and get those items from the front desk lady, who was very nice. Overall, the entire stay was fine. I would recommend the housekeeping staff check the toilet paper roll and the empty tissue dispenser in the counter, though.

Don’t waste your money

We had reservations but the man at the front desk had us and our friends who also had reservations waiting for 20-30 minutes. When we finally got irritated we were being ignored he stated he had more important things to do than check us in. The elevator was broke and there were teenagers running around well after quiet hours and nothing was being done. When checking out I walked up to the desk for them to look irritated that I was there and the breakfast that they advertised was “not available” that day. When we asked to speak to a manager since we were irritated we were told to call customer service but the number he gave us was a disconnected number. The room was very clean though!
