"We visited July 4th holiday. The hotel had no special plans of which we were made aware. There were no vans or shuttles to area events, nor did the staff seem knowledgable or helpful regarding information about nearby activities. They were polite, nice and professional with many people asking similar questions and then walking away discussing amongst ourselves how little they knew or could help. "Overall, we had a good stay. The staff were very helpful. Upon arrival I was able to check-in early. However, I was asked about noise due to construction. We had 2 French bulldogs with us. I thought we chose the room with less noise -we did not. Every morning we heard banging. It sounded like it was coming through the roof at one point. I inquired about a better view when we arrived. There wasn't a room available. I was told they would reach out to me the next day because there would be a room...
