"This was a very convenient stop between Melbourne & Sydney for us. I only wish we had given ourselves more time to enjoy the wineries nearby. The hotel was very comfortable--almost set up like a hostel but modern like a hotel. There was a central kitchen that was available to use by the guests with cutlery, dishes, microwaves, stoves & ovens. Beer, wine & other items are available to purchase in the kitchen with cash only and there is espresso offered in the morning as well. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. If you have time, rent a bike from the front desk to take the wine trail ride! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again & recommend it to others."

"The Abbey Motel is an excellent property, located perfectly in the centre of town. The amenities are well maintained, with thoughtful extras located throughout the property. The room was exceptionally lean, staff friendly and helpful, and parking was simple and easy. This is my first preference for Goulburn every time."
