"Right in town and incredibly comfortable and quiet. The room is big so it was great having the fireplace and later the reverse cycle, so a nice option in winter. Gunderoo is definitely small but it’s an excellent option if you want to stay out of Canberra for the night and the food options are great."

"There is a small enclosed yard, but it is not attached to the house. Dog had to be on a lead to get to the yard, which was challenging at night. there are many other dogs on the property and although contained, they barked a lot at night. The space did not feel private as there are many other dwellings on the property. Would suit a small dog ok, but not our dog of working breed."

"We left and asked for a refund. Things they didnt mention - no fires allowed - no toilet (sandpaper toilet) - no power (they have lights but you cant plug in your phone or anything else for that matter - bbq broken"

"We just spent the June long weekend at Pipers Grove with family. It was a magical cold weekend with internal fire heater, stunning views over the vineyard, orchards and olive groves. The house is brand new and was stocked with everything we needed including lots of wood all ready for the fire. There is a huge outdoor living space with undercover dining, ping pong table, dart board, pool and hot tub, and two fire pits. Dan, the host, was very easy to communicate with. It was really nice to slow...
