"This was our 3rd August on the central coast of California and as usual it was cool. We are from Texas.This house was the most unique and interesting. It is a bit of a drive from anywhere and the driveway can be difficult to spot but if you pay attention to the directions it's not a problem.The bedroom and 2 baths were just great, every thing you could possibly need or want. Showers were great and the heated floor a real treat.Kitchen had everything with Keurig and kettle for my tea. The water filter was great and water was delicious.It did take me a while to figure out the Roku TV but finally was able to watch what we wanted, directions would have been helpful as not everyone has a set up like that.We loved taking the "back way" into Morro Bay, so pretty.The road and 1st turnoff in Montana de Oro was a great vantage point to look back at the 3 stacks and a rock and then continue on to Simpsons Cove.We loved our stay in Los Osos at the ranchita and highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you Lexy"

"What a lovely, peaceful location for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The farmhouse was fabulous, well-appointed and comfortable for our family. Beds were comfy, plenty of space for us to relax, indoors and outdoors. Easy trail access was ideal for hiking/trail running. We loved the views of open land, seeing the wildlife (lots of deer, turkeys, coyote, and different bird species). Looking forward to returning!"

"A bit out there in the hills, but what an amazing property. Feels like stepping back in time. Amazingly appointed, every thing a chef needs in the kitchen. Beautiful grounds and very quiet. Thanks for the hospitality."
