"Fantastic stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Key West Waterfront! From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Check-in was quick and seamless, which was greatly appreciated after traveling. Our room was very spacious, with lovely views overlooking the pool, and was comfortable and well-maintained throughout our stay. The pool area was a highlight—never overcrowded, and we were always able to find a seat and relax. The bar staff, especially Jeff and Ken, were fantastic. They were engaging, friendly, and helped create a fun, welcoming atmosphere. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to local shops within walking distance. Duval Street was just a short 10-minute Uber ride away, making it easy to enjoy everything Key West has to offer. Another big plus was the complimentary parking, which is becoming increasingly rare at hotels these days. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed for one night and experienced some incredibly inconsistent—and frankly, suspicious—front desk behavior during check-in. We arrived around 12:50 PM and were told early check-in would cost $30, otherwise our room would be ready at 2:30 PM. Since we weren't in a rush, we chose to wait. Over the next half hour, we watched the same staff member check in five other parties who arrived early. When I questioned this at 1:30 PM, the clerk claimed every single one of those parties had paid the $30 fee, which felt highly improbable. Miraculously, as soon as I pushed for clarification, the "policy" changed, and she offered us our room for free. The shifting narrative and lack of transparency from the staff left a very poor impression."

"The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful. The pools were great. The only cons was that there were some roaches in the bathroom and hair from the previous guests in the shower. The food is delicious but quite pricey and it includes an automatic gratuity fee which adds up quite quickly."

"Everything about our 1 bedroom direct beach access ocean view suite was spectacular except for the jacuzzi tub in the room. The water wasn’t even like warm and not all the jets worked. Considering the shower water was hot I didn’t understand this. Bed was very comfortable and so were the couches. Refrigerator was great to have as well as the microwave and toaster. They have all kitchen supplies in this suite if you wanted to cook for yourself. We just made bagels a couple of mornings. We kind of took care of our own garbage and cleaning of utensils, cups and plates. There is a washer dryer which we used to wash some clothes at the end of the stay. We also used the dishwasher. If you want more towels or extra coffee or something of that nature you need to call the front desk and go get it or they can bring it to you but it might take a while. Suite 117A is the room we had and it is the perfect location. You have the pier in front of your room and you’re about 20 steps from the pool and chicken walk bar. You walk down your steps from the balcony and you’re on the beach. You can go fishing off the pier or get a float and float on the gulf water. Tavern n town was a great place for breakfast as well as dinner. Everything we had was great. Staff was great and helpful. We never did use the shuttle because we just got Ubers everywhere. I would suggest taking a sunset cruise and renting a golf cart to get around downtown, if you don’t have a car."
