The room is decorated great, and the layout of the room is wonderful. It is a full suite with living room, kitchen with all the kitchen items you’ll need, and a separate bedroom with an entrance to the bathroom from the hallway and the bedroom. The area is great with shopping within walking distance. We used Uber to get to everything else. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at The Laureate was absolutely awesome and exceeded all my expectations. Check-in was incredibly smooth and the on-site parking was very easy and convenient. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the balcony view was amazing. Having a full kitchen was a huge plus, especially while traveling with a baby. The neighborhood is peaceful and felt very safe, and it took us only 10 minutes to reach Duval Street, which was perfect. The pool area was great, and the property offers thoughtful amenities like free snacks and complimentary water bottles by the pool — a rare touch that really stood out. Overall, The Laureate is truly worth the money, and we would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Laureate Key West was fantastic! We especially enjoyed the clean room, fully equipped kitchenette and water front balcony along with the heated pool and all the added fun games like ping pong and corn hole, and the complimentary cold water cooler with cold rags during tanning! Not many other hotels we have stayed in had such great attention to detail and all around beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

The heated pool was nice. Bottled water and afternoon lemonade and cookies. Turn down service. Some covered parking. Only 1 slow elevator. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Walked around in bare feet and went out on the balcony. My feet were dirty when I got in the shower. Plenty of towels. Only had a convenience shop in the lobby for food and drinks.

The Laurette in Key West blew any expectations I had out of the water. The Laurette was absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship was well thought. The place was immaculate. The staff were amazing too shelf customer service WAS TOP SHELF. All staff I had interactions with were beyond helpful. I want to thank the owners of the Laurette! But more importantly I want to thank the amazing stuff at the Laurette Key West. Thank you all for such an amazing experience. I will definitely be back at the Laurette in the near future. Pros: The room is decent - nice decor, quality bedding, low noise from neighboring rooms. Short distance to airport and to Mallory Square. Cons: We paid for full ocean view but got partial ocean view. The issue with that is that they are priced differently- full ocean view is more expensive than partial ocean view. Buyer be ware! Front desk personnel said other customers have made similar complaints and they are aware but "it is company policy". Complimentary cookies taste yummy but they hide the cookies. They are strategically available after customer checkout time and customers are not told by front desk that cookies are available.

I recently stayed six nights in a suite with four adults. Initially, the staff was very responsive to our needs—providing extra towels and soap, addressing a leaky shower, and helping us secure scooters. Unfortunately, my experience declined significantly after checkout. I realized I had left my blow dryer and two styling brushes in the room and called immediately. I was told to call back the next morning so housekeeping could arrange shipping the items. After that, it took multiple calls to management to get any information, only to be told that nothing was found in the room. I felt completely ghosted—there was no accountability from management, and promised callbacks from staff and management never happened. I had to repeatedly follow up myself just to get a status update. While the items themselves may seem minor, they did not simply disappear. They were either discarded, removed, or stolen, and the lack of communication and ownership was extremely disappointing. I am still waiting for a call back from the general manager after my last conversation. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially in the hospitality industry. Due to this experience, I will not be staying at an Opal property again.
