"The hotel was clean. Food in dining room was fine. Very poor lighting in the room- they need to add some lamps.. not able to read in the evenings. We had problems getting a taxi.. and on departure, there was no taxi available.. left us stranded with no solution.. staff had no solution. They also failed to give us our wake up call..luckily we had our own alarm on our phone.. when we went to check out at 5:30 am.. there was no overnight staff..just a doorman. Wouldn’t return."

"The hotel and room were beautiful, and the view was absolutely amazing. However, the location is quite far from the city, and there aren't many stores or amenities nearby. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our reservation after just one night due to this inconvenience. Despite not using the facilities for the remaining days, the hotel has not issued a refund. I hope they reconsider and process the refund for the unused nights."

"Good location near shopping centers, excellent service. The only thing the room lacks is cleanliness, as we found a bottle cap on the carpet near the window. The hotel has nice views, but our room, not so nice, overlooks a school."

"I really enjoyed Quinta Esencia. It was walkable to Zocalo and all points of interest even a fantastic restaurant on premises. The only pitfall was a very loud and popular bar directly below the hotel…music goes from about 8pm-1:30am Thursday-Saturday. This hotel is not handicap accesible, it’s an older Casona gorgeous by the way. Other than that, was a nice stay. "
