"Great access to Matthew Knight arena for concert and events. Modern, clean and well appointed hotel. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Good cost to quality ratio. Highly recommend and we will be back for the next event we pick at the arena. - Ryan, Kerri, Dennis and Debbie."

"The breakfast is bare minimum, there is coffee, there is hot water for tea (although it appeared that the hot water was in a thermo that was previously used for coffee, the hot water was brown-ish. Bagels, cream cheese, jam two toaster, creamer, orange juice, some bananas and apples. You have to load up a plate and eat in your room since there is no breakfast room.. The hot tub is non-functional and the hot tub area is locked up and fenced off."

"Updated and clean. Friendly and informative staff. Great breakfast choices. Great location. You can lightly hear your neighbors, but it wasn't too loud, and we didn't have the tv on. I would return and highly recommend The Maverick."

"Went for a concert in Eugene at Matthew Night Arena, hotel is conveniently located across the street. Satisfied what we got for nightly price. Our room was clean, But definitely needs an update. Bring your own pillow unless you are ok with a small square type. Don’t count on the room pics on line and skip the bfast."

"Honest and true review. The continental breakfast was great. The staff very friendly, corteous and professional. I accidentally forgot my sweater as I hauled my family out the door and when I called them an hour later, one of the managers had it safely secured and nothing was missing. When I picked it up, it was bagged up and ready at the front counter. Room was spacious. The pool is not heated, which could be a pro or a con, depending on your preferences. After the 1st night I couldn't trust the cleanliness of the rooms and the following is true to our stay with my kiddos. Found a receipt from a previous guest in one of the drawers, which I understand is not that big of a deal. I then found a toenail in the bathtub right before I showered. There was "unidentifiable" goop on the shower curtain and hair. When I tried to grab a towel from a cubby in the bathroom, there were used tissues next to them. Found an ant on a pillow as I was putting my 1 year old son down for a nap. Next to the bed closest to the window was a case for a smart watch, which indicated to me that it was an area that wasn't cleaned. I don't have any plans on booking a stay here again."
