"Lovely stay, it was my second time there. However, I was in a room that was right above the fans/generators or something so it was really noisy even at nearly 11pm and came back to life at 5am. Other than those times I slept well. The room needed a new TV the screen was purple and didn’t have any other colouring. I would stay again though, it is a lovely hotel and the food is delicious too. East parking and great facilities, "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Milly Cottage. It was perfect for our family. A newly decorated property, with a very well stocked kitchen and loads of cupboard space throughout the house. A very comfortable and well laid out living space. Milly Cottage is located on the most impressive of the lakes at the Lower Mill Estate. We loved waking up in the morning with the view of the lake. Our grandchildren also enjoyed making friends with the ducks. We had a nice meal at the Balihoo restaurant and would definitely recommend the Bakers Arms which is only a short walk away. Cirencester is nearby with a good choice of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed brunch at Roots & Seeds. We would definitely recommend Milly Cottage and the Lower Mill Estate. We enjoyed our walk around the lakes and our swims in the indoor pool. Unfortunately, it wasn't warm enough for us to brave the outdoor pool!"

"Fabulous break with a large family group over two’s properties. The outlook was lovely and the sunrises spectacular over the lake. The house was equiped with everything you could need and the amenities around the site were ample, including pub/cafe/ outdoor pool/ play area. Would definitely return. The only downside was others taking your allocated parking space."

"The property was very well equipped with all the basic essentials that were needed throughout the stay. Everything was as described on the website. Hosts were available before our stay with all of our questions, i didnt need to reach out throughout the stay. Nice and spacious property with a nice view of some water. Property was slightly hard to find as it was behind some hedges - however someone working there found the property for us and showed us the way. 2 of the beds, the mattresses were uncomfortable and the bedframe was loud too. Apart from that we had such a good time. The location was very good - not too far from some local Cotswolds villages. Would definitely book again. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this delightful cottage overlooking the lake, with passing wildlife, plenty of sunshine, and beautiful views. Both balcony bedrooms shared the same outlook, making the mornings especially memorable. The house is very comfortable for up to 7 guests, with a large open-plan living area featuring a balcony, log fire, TV, big kitchen table, and a well-equipped kitchen. There was ample seating throughout, though the sofas didn’t quite accommodate all 7 at once. Onsite facilities were excellent, including a great restaurant, spa, swimming pools, tennis courts, water sports, and children’s activities. Offsite, there are scenic walks along the Thames Path and easy access to pubs and sightseeing, with Cirencester close by for Roman remains, museums, shopping, and dining. Communication with the booking team was very good—comprehensive, if at times a little overwhelming due to the volume of information. We had no major issues during our stay and only reported a few very minor points to the helpful onsite maintenance team. Overall, a spacious, well-located property that makes for a relaxing and activity-filled break."
