"Superb hotel with very attentive staff, wonderful food in the bar, restaurant and for breakfast..Loved the pool and all the fabulous facilities. The location is amazing.Highly reccommend booking a room with a sea view and if your pennies will allow, upgrade to a best room with a balcony and bath overlooking Fistral beach. You won't be disappointed. Didn't want to leave this gem of a hotel and spa.Highly recommended..Hope to return."

"Firstly I just want to say thank you to Maggie, she was absolutely fantastic!! We booked the room with a sea view, and it was an unreal view. Lovely high ceilings, a beautiful building. Some parts of the hotel were closed because of renovations, so if I came back I’d do it next year when they’re complete. Elemis products in the bathroom, very nice touch. A lovely bath tub. The view is unmatched, if you book, get a sea view room! There was a wedding on, which limited where we could go in the property during the evening, but it wasn’t much of a problem. We ate at the restaurant and the wine was great, I ordered a pizza which had too much cheese on, but overall an OK experience. The best parts were the view, the high ceilings, and Maggie!! :)"

"I was very happy with the hotel overall. The facilities provided were excellent, and I had a pleasant stay. My only disappointment was that I did not get the sea view that was shown in the pictures when I made the booking. I was expecting a room with a sea view, so this was a little disappointing. Apart from that, everything was good, and I appreciate the facilities and services provided by the hotel."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Alverton. The room by the courtyard was very nice, and the bed super comfortable. Nice and quiet as well. The one thing that was a bit disappointing was the breakfast - we had decided to stick with the continental option, the buffet was limited, the toast we had ordered never arrived, and my mum’s gluten free toast got there only just before we left, more than half an hour in. I appreciate things can get busy, but it was unfortunate that there was no communication about it."
