"A lovely quiet spot with easy walks along the river to Pont Croix and Audierne. Easy access to lovely beaches and a supermarket only 5 minutes away by car. Matheiu was great (little English), a fishermen who provided us with 2 prepared fresh lobsters. Andrew, the next door neighbour, speaks good English and gave us a lot of useful information and local history. Gite was clean and well appointed. We loved it as did our dog, Charlie"

"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr modern und hübsch und mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen kann. Die Lage ist ruhig. Leider erlaubte uns das bretonische Wetter während unseres Aufenthalts nicht, draußen zu sitzen, aber im Sommer kann man die beiden Terrassen und den Garten sicher genießen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"The house is in a nice area, close to the town and excellent local shops. We enjoyed several very picturesque walks straight from the door and it was also well placed to explore the area by car. The photos show the interior well, the kitchen was very well equipped and the heating worked well - important in April. Cathy was very friendly, helpful and speaks excellent english. Overall, an excellent stay."

"This is a property that is finished to a really high standard set in beautiful rural surroundings. It is a really great property to relax and feel comfortable in with a helpful and responsive owner who was easy to contact and quick to respond to any queries. All the furnishings are really tastefully done and of a high standard and the views of the horses in the field and the cats that came to visit made us feel like it was a home away from home not just a holiday."

"The accommodation was immaculately presented; everything we needed (and more!) was provided. The owners had clearly put a lot of effort into making it a home from home, with comfortable and tasteful fittings. It is capable of accommodating more, but is ideal for a couple. It also has a pleasant garden, and a shed with bikes we were invited to usE (though, in our mid-60s, we didn't!). It's located in a quiet and peaceful residential area with properties well spread and plenty of green areas ......

"We enjoyed staying in the house and loved the area. However after booking and paying our deposit we were asked “Would you like to rent sheets and linen? 20 euro per room and 20 euros for linen You must plan to pay a cleaning fee of 60 euros to be paid locally” I have never in 50 years of renting holiday properties been asked to pay for bedding."

"My family of 5 (3 kids, 2 adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Concarneau at this property. The location is ideal. We enjoyed walking to the quick ferry to the walled part of the city. It was nice to be so close but to return to the quiet neighborhood that the home is in. The back of the living room opens up (triple doors) to the view of the harbor. Watching the boats come and go was very relaxing. The house had everything we needed (appliances and amenities) and is a short walk from a grocery...
