"The property was very well located for the functions we had to attend. Having the Hotel below was great and made it easy to get a drink and a feed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very dated and in need of some renovation. Shower fitting was leaking quite badly. Mirror was high and facing the toilet. Chairs were 2 white stools not very comfortable for people in their 70's! Our stay of 3 nights while comfortable for the price paid was very poor value. I've stayed in hotels all around the world and I don't think I would stay there again. Couldn't even replenish milk from day one or replace towels maybe they are trying to save the planet?"

"Cannot fault location staff or the room itself, however have stayed a couple of times and hotel grounds are being used for other purposes. So a little bit of competition between visitors and guests. Otherwise will stay there again "

"This motel is very peaceful and relaxing and well appointed. Ideally located for work travel and the surrounding racecourse grounds are great for walks, with a tavern also within walking distance. Very helpful staff."
