"We did not have an enjoyable stay. Our door didn't latch properly. We could push it open without using our key card so we were worried about our belongings the whole stay. The door to the laundry, does not allow residents to access (key cards didn't work) and we had the door close and lock on us. We had to stuff around trying to get someone to let us in so we could access our clothes. The toilet was very noisy, keeping the other one up at night each time it refilled after flushing and the most awful part is the bed was so soft, we both had sore backs and terrible sleep. Would not recommend."

"Staff was apathetic, always on their cell phones. Room had trash on ac from previous guest. Payed for upgraded room, that just ment a room on a higher floor. Valet parking only for $48. No self parking."

"The building is very old but rooms have been updated. Location is right on River Street and convenient to restaurants and bars. Room was very nicely appointed with beautiful and somewhat unique antique furniture but was equipped with modern technology. View of the river was very nice. Loved watching the big ships navigate up and down the Savannah. A few quibbles: There were some small maintenance items that were brought to the attention of staff (USB port not working, batteries in remote, small spot needing touchup on ceiling). Overall I love this place for its character and location. Highly recommended."

"Clean but dated rooms. Staff is ok just do the bare minimum. Staff at the food service is awful. They complain about other guests openly. Front desk ( Kevin is useless) not much help on information. Got more from guests. There is a free trolley line right next to the hotel. Beach chairs and umbrellas are at a fee. pool side get there early. The chicken tenders are amazing!! Patty the cleaning woman was the most helpful and always a smile on her face. Always happy to help or give a good tip / info. Have her at the front desk . "
