This lovely older beach town is a great respite from the development going on in so many beach areas on the coasts now. Lovely wide beaches, not crowded at all when we were there. I think Tybee strives to keep their island on the quieter side. We felt comfortable here, had everything we needed (not a problem for us, but needed a silverware, plate etc....

"Overall this place suited our needs for a quick getaway for our family & they accepted our dog!! The duplex is right on a main thoroughfare so traffic stayed heavy until around 11p.m. each night but it wasn't awful. It is close to Tybee & Savannah and all major grocery/pharmacies which was great too. The duplex itself is older but appears taken care of. We would definitely recommend & hopefully stay again in the future as it is so difficult to find a place that takes bigger dogs. Very very clean...
