"This was our first time staying on Tybee Island. The views from the deck are amazing. This property was just what we needed. They have thought of everything. "

"The porch and outdoor furniture were noticeably unclean. The yard looked like it hadn’t been swept in several days, and the seating areas were dirty. Breakfast was another issue, which was especially disappointing considering this was a bed‑and‑breakfast and I stayed for two days. On the first morning, I went to check on breakfast around 9:25 a.m. and was told it was served at 9. There was no indication that I needed to be there exactly at 9 a.m. or that breakfast would not be available afterward. The man at the door questioned me abruptly — “You staying here? Which room you staying in?” — which made me uncomfortable. A barefoot woman, who I assume also worked there, added, “Sorry, no breakfast, you should have come at 9,” even though it wasn’t even 9:30 yet. The next day, I didn’t return for breakfast. As I was leaving, I saw the same man. He looked at me and said, “You miss breakfast again,” almost as if he was taunting me. I smiled and walked away. He then asked, “You’re leaving?” I nodded, and he replied, “Come back again. Hope you enjoyed your stay.”The entire experience left me disappointed."

"Host provided good communication for arrival. Descriptions accurate. North end area, walkable to North beaches and lighthouse (10 - 15 minutes). Easy access to Hwy 80. Cottage is a clean functional small space. Kitchenette consists of sink, microwave and small coffee maker. A blender and small toaster oven in cupboard. Living space is cute one-room area. Bed could be improved with a better mattress for better support, foam topper not effective. "

"This is a great location and very nice property. It was perfect for visiting north beach & surrounding area. The bed was comfortable, coffee bar was well stocked & it was very very clean. Another review mentioned a wet dog smell. I didn't notice this at all. My son LOVED the turtle pond on the property and we visited several times. The only reason I took a star off is the noise upstairs. Other reviews mention this. I figured they were exaggerating, but they definitely aren't. I was awoken 1st morning at 6:30 & it was too loud to fall back asleep. Sounded like a parade above us.. Second morning I woke up to the dog barking right by our door and somebody opening & closing the door going from their garage to their stairs very loudly several times. Maybe close it a little quiter when you know you have guests staying? It did seem a bit inconsiderate to me, though I do understand given it being directly underneath their home noise cannot always be helped. If there is any way to sound proof, that may really help. I would still recommend. Just bring noise canceling geadphones if you're not trying to get up that early! "

"It was the perfect size for our family. It would have been nice to know that the code didn’t open the front door. I called and no one answered or called back. The property could use some maintenance. We enjoyed the pool. It was such a warm temperature. All in all it was fine, but not great."

"Great location and worked well for 6 people. Home needs a lot of maintenance for the cost and we had to call twice to get things fixed. Pool access is at the other end of the island? The management was helpful and check in was easy. "
