As soon as I realized the mistake, I immediately contacted both the hotel and Hotels.com multiple times to request a cancellation. Despite explaining that it was an honest mistake and reaching out right away, they refused to approve the cancellation or provide a refund. There was no flexibility, no understanding, and no willingness to help resolve the situation. I understand policies exist, but customer service should also involve compassion and reasonable discretion, especially when a guest reaches out immediately. This experience left me feeling frustrated and unheard. I would strongly encourage future travelers to double-check airport locations before booking — and to be aware that in situations like mine, there may be no flexibility or support. "
