"Such a beautiful home. The decor is warm and inviting. The layout flows well. I love the mud room for storing bags and shoes during our stay.The home was immaculately clean when we checked in. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and pillows with stylish decor. The screen deck was lovely.The bunk room was stocked with night lights and games. Our children enjoyed the game room including karaoke (so fun!)The outdoor games were a hit as well.The kitchen was well stocked. We made several family dinners. We did not use the dining room or office.The bar room was gorgeous, but most of the time was spent on the main level and porch.The dock had paddle boards and a kayak, which we attempted to use. The water level was below my knees when standing in the water making swimming off the dock impossible. We needed to pick up our rental boat at the marina instead of docking it at the home. Overall it was an amazing family vacation made unforgettable by all the amenities available at this vacation home."

"Lovely home with plenty of space for all 17 of us to gather together - or have some quiet time. Made for a memorable family vacation. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The play area and movie room kept young and old having fun with basketball and billiards contests and popcorn and movie nights. (We were excited to find huge stacks of DVDs of every genre to add to our viewing fun).Cooking meals - and the seemingly nonstop snacking - was made easier by the wonderfully equipped kitchen and the 4 refrigerators. We were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of cookware, a Blackstone grill, gas grill, a kurig coffee maker - and coffee pods! We loved the beautiful pool and made s'mores and sticky, sweet memories around the fire pit. Most of all we loved having the dock, where we brought our pontoon boat and spent much of our vacation on or in the beautiful Lake Anna. Our host, Dan, was excellent. He communicated quickly befote, during and after our stay and make our time as perfect as possible."

"Home was exceptionally clean and ready for our arrival. Kitchen had every item needed to feed our crew of 12 or more. Extra refrigerators were a plus. Deck area was a haven for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Pool was fabulous and the hot tubs were in use everyday. Loved the theater room and the young adults had a blast with karaoke area. Beds were very comfortable and loved the filled shower dispensers. Towels were first class and plentiful. Communications with owner was excellent and they went over and above to manage a pool issue that occurred. We were able to dock pontoon boat and jet ski easily. Instructions for checking out were easy to follow. Fabulous home and we thank you for a memorable week with our family. Looking forward to our returning next year!"

"We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my son’s birthday. The property is beautiful, spacious and we loved the water access and dock. The outdoor space was amazing, lots of areas to hang out and the hot tub was a nice bonus. The kitchen was nicely stocked, we enjoyed the lounge area, pool table and many other amenities. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. We were also able to bring our dog along, which was great."

"Our stay at Lake Anna at Windy Oaks was amazing. The home, boat house and boat rental option were all top notch. My family and another family stayed for a week in July… 5 adults / 6 kids. The 6 bedrooms, each with own bathroom/shower, worked out great. Main floor living room, downstairs living room / game room, and movie room ensured we had tons of space. All of the TV rooms have huge smart TVs with ample seating. The kitchen is very large.. very nice oven and stove; great for cooking for a large group. Two refrigerators are a nice plus. Screened-in sun room and large deck are great for outside hanging out.Boat house was just re-done… wow! Main floor has multiple slips, lots space for fishing off the dock or swimming from the dock. Main floor also has a semi-closed area with outdoor couches and very large smart TV. Second floor is partially covered with three ceiling fans and lots of couch, dining, and lounge seating. Boat house also comes with two stand-up paddle boards, two kayaks, and a large selection of life vests.Highly recommend the pontoon rental. Super convenient (no pick up or return) and brand new boat.Property location is excellent… less than a ten min drive to Food Lion, less than a ten min boat ride to the Anna Point Marina (very convenient for boat gas, bait, etc), and less than ten min boat ride to Lake Anna Taphouse.Check in and check out was very easy. And the owner was super communicative. Highly recommend the property."

"My entire family had a great 4 day stay at this amazing lakehouse. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and 4kids.....One night all the kids slept in the same large room with bunks and a single bed, leaving one bedroom available. Having 4 bathrooms made everything run smoothly with a large group. The toiletries were wonderful as were the many plush towels and the linens. Our group definitely enjoyed the large hot tub with colored lights even though the temperature was rather high. We usually waited until after the beach to indulge. Two kayaks were available for use though one strap was broken. The owners agreed to make the repair and were available for any of our needs (we really didn't need them as everything was in working order). The design of the home was comfortable and allowed for privacy. The kids enjoyed the selection of boardgames in the lower level,although the darts on dartboard needed some attention. We brought some lifejackets but was impressed by the selection in the garage. The kitchen was well equipped...had items I didn't expect so brought...salt /pepper..some condiments..Unfortunately the lake was a bit low, out of the owners' hands so we kayaked, rented a pontoon boat and went to Lake Anna State Park for swimming. Hoping to return when water is higher. Great vacation...Wish we could have stayed longer...."
