This was my first time here. We were visiting from Tennessee. The cabins were clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was super easy and quick. The pools are nice, big and clean. There are plenty of activities to do at no extra cost. It was nice to have dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels provided in the cabin. We definitely are coming back for a longer stay!

Best Stay this year

Beautiful cabins, I wish a longer stay would have been planned. You need at least 3 days here to enjoy the activities and view—outside the cabin. Each cabin looked and smelled of new wood and had VERY clean interiors. Everyone from the phone staff to the security were friendly and personable. Better and cheaper than any hotel I’ve stayed at this year. Coming here again as soon as I can

Strengths: * Location: Perfect * Activities: Perfect * Cabin Size: Perfect * Amenities: Nice * Check-in Experience: Exceptional, thanks to Deja's welcoming demeanor. Area for Improvement: * Cabin Cleanliness: Specifically, the floors needed sweeping and mopping. This detracted from the enjoyment of the lake view. Conclusion: Despite the minor cleaning issue, the positive aspects of the resort (location, activities, cabin, amenities, and excellent check-in) significantly outweigh this drawback, leading to a strong recommendation and intent to return.

I thought the people who worked at the campground went out of their way to be kind and helpful. It's location near Civil War historical sites was wonderful. The cabin itself needs upgrades. You sink so far into the couch it's difficult to get back out. The mattress in all beds need to be replaced as well.The thing that really turned us off was the large black ants in the bathroom. Not sure if I would go back
