"Kitchen was great! Kayaks and outdoor fireplace was fantastic! Decking around the house was nice to have. Beautiful views and lakefront property. House was clean. Truly grateful to be able to bring our dogs - Thank you!! Plenty of towels. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this for vicinity to battlefields and a relaxing lakefront vacation. What could make it better: have a mirror and chair in each bedroom. Having a leaf blower for the fall. TV services were “bring your own” subscriptions - not good. Solar lights on outdoor path and at fireplace need to be updated. Having books, info, maps on local battlefields and attractions would be a bonus. "

"Beautiful cabin and grounds. Very relaxing. No cell service and the WiFi didn't work most of the time. Gas fireplace didn't work either and maintenance never responded. However, it was very comfortable, we enjoyed it very much, and we would stay again. "

"Everything was great except for one problem.... Do not stay in any of the cottages near cottage number 6.... There is an owner there who does not have control of their dogs I could not sleep most of the week that I was there her dogs would not shut up!!!!"
