Cozy Waterfront Log Cabin Retreat on a Quiet Creek
8/10 Good
"We had an amazing stay at this lake house rental! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a cozy log cabin retreat. The property was clean, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. The amenities exceeded our expectations. We loved having easy access to the lake and the paddle boards were a big hit with the young people in our group! The large back deck was the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, outdoor meals, and the peaceful natural surroundings. The setting was very private, making it easy to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle. Inside, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless. The game room was a huge bonus, featuring a pool table and bar area that provided hours of entertainment for our group. We appreciated that the rental was pet friendly and our dog enjoyed his little vacation as much as we did! And the host, Magdalena, was quick to answer any questions that we had.Overall, this property offered the perfect combination of comfort, recreation, privacy, and natural beauty. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing lakefront escape and would gladly stay here again!"
"The property was clean and well cared for. The front of the home has been slightly updated since the pictures were posted, but the description is accurate. There is a little walk along a path (through a backyard) to access the dock, but it was easy enough to access. Lora was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay"
"Outstanding location for relaxing and water sports. Great property for family reunion. Even had a Tesla charger that wasn’t mentioned in list but came in handy. Cottage was connected to main house that was also a nice surprise."
Secluded Lakefront | Private Pool | Dock | Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"We were very happy with the house for our family. We did have a few issues. The lily pad he shows in the picture was in terrible condition. That is the one thing the grandkids like to do, but we did not feel comfortable letting them play on it. It had a huge tear in the middle of the pad. It definitely needs to be replaced. Outdoor furniture needs to be clean and the pool was okay. It needed to be clean. The doors did not lock properly, and we had a 19-month granddaughter so we did not feel comfortable with this, especially when the doors go to the pool. Overall, we had a great time. Hopefully, these issues will be fixed so we can return next year."
Cozy Lake Cabin Families Will Love + Vintage Games--Only 5 Min Walk to Lake
8/10 Good
"Overall great stay, very responsive host. Rained the entire weekend so we were mostly confined to the cabin, unable to enjoy outdoors. Big bummer. Pros: Comfortable beds, nice DVD collection, decent size bathroom and the shelf was a big help. Very easy to check-in, and the DG Market was nearby and well stocked. Fans worked great in the bedrooms, plenty of blankets and pillows for a cozy feel. There's a storage closet where the washer is (dry outside in garage) so we could store suitcases in there. Cons: We didn't realize how small the cabin was - basically a two bedroom with a small kitchen/tv area. To watch tv/movies, it's just a loveseat, which for a family of four is a big bummer. Dad had to sit in kitchen chair for the movies. Also, the counters were pretty cluttered so no place to put any food you brought - we kept our food in a bin on the floor by the door. The kitchen sponge was black and kitchen towel was dirty - perhaps the cleaning lady forgot to replace them, but we managed with bathroom hand towels and paper towels. Overall good stay, would stay again if there was a sofa that our family could all sit on to watch movies for the rainy days. In fairness, it showed the small loveseat in the picture, we just never made the connection that for a family of four, that probably won't work."
