Always a great stay at wildes, the staff are helpful and nothing is to much trouble
The staff were very kind and efficient. We were able to check in earlier than was stated. The room was spotless and clean and the hotel itself was well placed with easy parking. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wildes Inn.
Booked a Executive room , the room was advertised as 160 square foot. I compared the sizes of the room before booking and chose to book the large room, couldn't get around the bed, it was that small there was only one bed size table because of the lack of room.
Hotel very clean, bathroom was great with large bath and shower, huge tv, large, comfortable clean bed, convenient free parking. Service was amazing, we left behind some boots in our room and the hotel contacted us and arranged for them to be posted to our home address, so huge thank you for that. Breakfast was plentiful but not the best tasting in our opinion and the coffee was awful. Would stay again for sure.
The modern side of the hotel was good but sections of the older part needed updating or mending. Staff, food etc excellent. Drinks were horrendously priced with half the wedding party drinking tap water as a consequence.
Reception was great, staff welcoming. Downside was the breakfast service staff who were not focussed on delivering the correct breakfast or reacting to “Service” being shouted from the kitchen.
