"We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well.
One slight downer was we didn’t get asked if we wanted to book tables for dinner in the evenings and one night was fully booked with what must have been non resident...

"Great stay - fancy but warm and easy going too! The paths and gardens were a joy to experience! The dinner was wonderful! The breakfast I would consider a little “light” but service GREAT. Lucas was excellent and fun.
Our room was spacious, lovely, and quiet! Internet was not the best but then doing without it was good too!

"Beautiful hotel, nice large room and bathroom, good breakfast, evening meal not so good, would not eat there again, asked for our steak medium and it was rare and a little tough, waiting staff very good and attentive, had to pay 150 euros on arrival as a deposit otherwise they would not have given us the room, 2 days after leaving I am still waiting for it back!! "

"Welcome was good, Lovely area and house, breakfast was great, nearly all homemade. Spa facilities are excellent - I would highly recommend a massage and if needed the acupuncture - worked wonders for me. Tattoos can be arranged too. Can't wait to return, the area is quiet and peaceful but, you can get to many chateau's and Tours very easily. Thank you N. "

"One of a kind experience. This was a peaceful and calm place to return to at the end of the day. We enjoyed petting the dog and walking around the Chateau grounds. Being into history, the mural inside lodge and the surrounding buildings was awesome to see. The sparkling wine made on site tasted great, too. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! The Hosts were extremely courtesy and welcoming! They gave us a nice tour of the place when we arrived. Our younger kids enjoyed the trampoline that was available as well. The only thing we didn't realize was that the linens were an extra charge as the listing said they were provided. Other than the communication was excellent! We would happily stay there again if in the area. Thanks for allowing us to make memories at your Gite!"
