"We stayed three nights over Easter at Capelongue, just one day after opening for the season—and unfortunately, it showed throughout. Check-in was poorly managed. We arrived at 12:30 with a pre-confirmed early check-in, yet no one could tell us when the room would be ready. We were sent to lunch (which was good), but even at 15:10 the room was still not available. When we pointed out that Expedia listed check-in from 15:00, we were told it was actually 16:00. We were eventually given the room shortly after, but the process felt disorganised. We booked a Deluxe Terrace but were given what seemed to be one of the smallest in that category, in the older part of the hotel. No seating area as shown in photos, visible dust, and a terrace next to the parking with a loud AC unit running constantly. It’s hard not to wonder whether booking via Expedia influenced the room allocation. Service lacked consistency: pool towels not cleared or set up properly, pool water not very clean, and empty glasses left around. Basic standards were missing. On the positive side, the food was good and restaurant service attentive, and the property is visually appealing. Overall, however, the experience fell short. Would return, but not at the start of the season."

"Nice place. Think of it as a French country motel. One room with a bathroom. Kitchen was small tight area in corner.outdoor space was nice. We brought in lunch from the market one day and ate outside surrounded by olive trees. .Hosts are very helpful and flexible. Nice easy walk to old part of town. 10 plus minutes depending on your speed. Follow the directions they send you to find and enter place. I recommend. "

"We arrived late so no contact with staff. In the morning they were friendly. Person in spa was a bit unfriendly when I asked question. No one thought to mention that it was market day in town before we left. "

"The House was amazing, well equipped with everything we needed! the Pool was divine!!!There were some games, that we wanted to play, but they were missing pieces. we bought a new deck of cards and poker chips and a few things for the lively house .we can’t wait to return!"

"Just had the most wonderful stay, super communication with Sophie prior to our arrival, and could not be more helpful with all aspects of our holiday. The house was perfect, spacious for 7 adults and 2 kids. The most fabulous space to all be together and yet have a really chilled time as well. We have laughed, eaten beautiful food and tried all of the regions wines, a really super stay. Thank you so much x"

"The property is well-located close to Lourmarin, Cucuron, and Cadenet and has a wonderful plot, garden and pool. Our group of six spent a very enjoyable and relaxing two weeks there and would consider returning.Brigitte and Manu are communicative, attentive and friendly hosts and the cooperation with them was excellent. In particular, we appreciated the common sense approach to pool maintenance.However, the property and our experience would have been better if the (traditional iron and wooden) furniture was more comfortable to sit on. "
