Apartments in Aix-en-Provence

"Aix is a tourist zone/pricey. This was a good value, potentially excellent place made less valuable starting with lack of communication from the host (VRBO, SMS, WhatsApp?) - first communication at 4:05 pm for 4:00 pm check-in, followed by the treasure hunt for the keys, eclipsed by the leftover food in the fridge and the broken drawers on the only dresser, among other minor things. Communication to the host was responded back to us with "???" Would I stay here again? Extremely Unlikely Pros...

"It's an old building in an old part if centre-ville, not modern or luxurious, so have reasonable expectations. It is clean and has all you need for a short stay. Shower is small, water is hot!! Bed is comfy and fair amt of closet space. Near carpark, 10 mins to la gare. Hoppin' part of centre-ville. "

"Where to begin, property postedwith no accessibility issues 56 stones steps up and down property listed washer and dryer… none , listed spices none, listed fireplace no operable way to use, no useage instructions for any appliance, broken light switch bathroom, no soap in dispenser, dirty pots n pans in cupboards, inadequate coffee 6 pods for 2 people for 4 days, had to drive off property to empty garbage. Contact/ host does not own property owned by the city. Departure delayed due to host...
