"As always, when in this area of CT. I stay at the Lamplighter. Close to the highway, easy walking distance to numerous restaurants. Always very clean, everything works and i did notice the new beds in my room, which were super comfortable. Extremely nice rooms for the price, with fridge and microwave. Shower, instant hot water and plenty of it. I love staying at the Lamplighter. "
"A very comfortable, clean, convenient apartment close to the shore and all the natural attractions near Madison and Clinton. We particularly appreciated that the owners quickly replaced the bedroom air conditioner when it broke. Great hosts!"

"The location was perfect, there were shopping outlet centers, EXCELLENT restaurants (Donahue's Madison Beach Grille) was beyond delicious , Pizza Palace was GREAT too,winery in Clinton was beautiful, consignment stores, Goodwills, Grocery stores, EXCELLENT location to travel to New York, Our 3 weeks stay was just too short. The property was very very clean, the beds was so comfortable with brand new sheets and comforters, in all three bedrooms.We enjoyed the Glass Room with the Amazing views, We had lots of fun in the game room. The host Vincent was a angel sent from heaven. We NEVER had to call him about anything, Vincent handle everything perfectly fron "Check-In "to "Checkout". Anything we needed to know, Vincent had already answered, before we checked in. The property was well stock with everything we needed and wanted. "We returned for a second year and it was as wonderful as the first. The beach, the salt marsh and the whole area make for a perfect vacation. The house has a summer cottage feel which is what we wanted, and a great screened porch. Host Gene could not be nicer."
