"The location is perfect - walk to the beach easily with little ones. If wasn't sleeping, I was sitting on the front porch on a comfy settee, watching people walk by. Met and spoke with the owners who were lovely as well as attentive. However - I was surprised at the lack of basics - I have rented many times before (not sure if via VRBO or what) and there have always been beach chairs, decent dishes, good place to sit outside,out door shower etc. Grill was unusable (to us) as were coffee pots. Next year we are going to look at Guilford or another Shoreline - maybe Madison has just gotten out of my price range. "

"The location was perfect, there were shopping outlet centers, EXCELLENT restaurants (Donahue's Madison Beach Grille) was beyond delicious , Pizza Palace was GREAT too,winery in Clinton was beautiful, consignment stores, Goodwills, Grocery stores, EXCELLENT location to travel to New York, Our 3 weeks stay was just too short. The property was very very clean, the beds was so comfortable with brand new sheets and comforters, in all three bedrooms.We enjoyed the Glass Room with the Amazing views, We had lots of fun in the game room. The host Vincent was a angel sent from heaven. We NEVER had to call him about anything, Vincent handle everything perfectly fron "Check-In "to "Checkout". Anything we needed to know, Vincent had already answered, before we checked in. The property was well stock with everything we needed and wanted. It was the perfect retreat for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the breathtaking sunset views, especially while cooking in the beautifully designed kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare an amazing family dinner. The town of Clinton was absolutely charming, with the friendliest people, and we fell in love with Hammonasset Beach—it’s a must-visit! We’ll definitely be returning in the summer. The home’s privacy was a huge bonus, and the updated finishes were a great touch. It was a great experience!"
