"The staff here is amazing along with the rooms and the property. This is a very nice and quiet place to stay with the family and they always seem to have some type of entertainment for the guests. Close to town and other points of interest. Only thing missing is a pool, but other than that this is a very nice place to stay. "
"This is a very lovely property located just beyond town. It's quiet and inviting. The property is beautifully maintained. The rooms are charming, with many antiques and decorations creating a very homey and fun atmosphere. The staff is very welcoming and eager to make the stay extremely pleasant. Breakfast is included and coffee and snacks are available 24/7. Our stay exceeded our expectations and will be a place to stay for future visits to the area."
"I stayed for two nights, and the apartment was clean (always important to me!), pretty, with a comfortable bed. It might be noted that there is a downstairs apartment as well, which I don't think was described on the website. I mention this only because of possible noise issues - I did hear music played from around 6-8 pm, but all was quiet after that. The setting is lovely, and the host was great - friendly and flexible. Overall an excellent stay."
"My family and I absolutely loved our stay at this home! It was the perfect retreat for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the breathtaking sunset views, especially while cooking in the beautifully designed kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare an amazing family dinner. The town of Clinton was absolutely charming, with the friendliest people, and we fell in love with Hammonasset Beach—it’s a must-visit! We’ll definitely be returning in the summer. The home’s privacy was a huge bonus, and the updated finishes were a great touch. It was a great experience!"

"We returned for a second year and it was as wonderful as the first. The beach, the salt marsh and the whole area make for a perfect vacation. The house has a summer cottage feel which is what we wanted, and a great screened porch. Host Gene could not be nicer."
