Our group was able to walk to everything in the historic district, which made it nice to not have to find parking and get in a few extra steps. The house is perfect, beds were very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook a few meals of our own. If you are staying in Gettysburg and looking for a place to stay, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Stratton House!!!"

"The house was excellent - just as described. It was spacious, comfortable and gave us the historic feel we were looking for in the heart of Gettysburg. Location was ideal allowing easy walks to the Gettysburg circle, the battlefield and many options for dining / shopping. We enjoyed it immensely and would not hesitate to go back to the Barclay House in the future."

"Couldn't have asked for better or more accommodating hosts, the cabin was immaculate with plenty of room for a friend's getaway. The View is stunning, overlooking the winery and mountains. A short walk to the winery for a tasting of some of the best wine we've ever had. The proximity to state college and all of its amenities was wonderful. Really enjoyed the stay, will be back!"

"My sister-in-law and I enjoy trips immersing ourselves in history. We stayed at Belle on Buford and couldn't have found a better location and comfortable stay. Kim was responsive when contacted. All appliances and supplied linens are top quality and the furnishings and decor provide an immediate feeling of home. Ideal location, close to battlefield auto tour and downtown tours and dining. I've already let friends who expressed an interest in visiting Gettysburg know that I can recommend this...

Enjoyed the design of the shoe house and there was something quaint about the rooms that made them comforting. The hot tub and fire pit were nice additions. The host was very responsive.
