About this property
Beautiful Home w/ Private Yard! Walkable to Markets, Coffee Shops & More!
Relax in this beautiful, newly renovated home that's walkable to many fun activities! This 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom home is well stocked for your next visit to Lancaster. It was intentionally designed for comfort while not sacrificing a modern, clean aesthetic! Fun fact: the log cabin that's a few home's down on the same block is the city's oldest home that was built in the 1700's.
Enjoy a cup of coffee outside on the patio in the private, fenced in yard. The backyard is an oasis to enjoy the beautiful weather and hear the "buzz" of the city. Bring one (or two!) complimentary games outside to play with friends and family.
Cook a meal in the brand new full size kitchen. Brand new kitchen appliances are available for guests to enjoy including a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, plates, dishes, flatware, cups, wine glasses, wine opener, etc. There is seating for six at the large kitchen island.
Love coffee? We provide guests with two coffee makers including a drip coffee maker and a Keurig-style coffee maker. Complimentary coffee pods, creamer pods, tea and coffee filters are provided.
After a long day, enjoy a shower in the bathrooms with contemporary marble tile and fixtures. Both bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers, towels and washcloths, complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. An iron/ironing board and collapsible travel crib are also available for guests to use.
Guests have full control of the smart thermostat to enjoy heat/AC to their preferred taste, and complimentary laundry soap is available so that you don't have to take home dirty laundry =)
The living room is equipped with comfy lounge furniture and contemporary decor. A smart TV is available for guests in addition to a collection of games including Scattergories, and more. Take a game out to the backyard patio and play with your friends after a long day exploring Lancaster. It's one of our favorite things to do!
There are three bedrooms/sleeping areas in this home: 1) King bedroom (sleeps two) 2) Queen bedroom (sleeps two) 3) Kid's room with a Twin trundle bedroom w/ twin beneath it (sleeps two) 4) A living room sectional sofa (sleeps two) *** Please note: the living room sofa isn't a futon or pull-out sofa bed (just a heads up!) and is best suited for kids who don't mind sleeping directly on the top of the sofa cushions. We provide pillows, quilts, and sheet sets for all beds including the living room sofa sleepers.
This home is a city home and due to the nature of the location, guests may hear city noises from time to time. We include a sound machine in each bedroom if you are a light sleeper. Free street parking is available outside of the home and there isn't a dedicated driveway for your car. Street parking is first come, first serve which is typical for this area. The good news is that it
My family and I are big fans of Lancaster City and have stayed in this home many times with our young kids. We enjoy the central location of the home in addition to the modern, elevated interior design. Coffee Shops we recommend: - Square One Coffee (top favorite! try the caramel latte) - Passenger Coffee (try the chai latte!) - Prince Street Coffee (great for breakfast or lunch) - Cafe One Eight< - Copper Cup Coffee
Restaurants + Bars we recommend: - Horse Inn (our FAVORITE cocktails/dinner spot in Lancaster) - LUCA - Lancaster Central Market (try the homemade pretzels) - Lancaster Brewing Company - Decades - The Exchange (enjoy a drink & the stunning city view!) - The Belvedere Inn - Lancaster Brewing Company
Local attractions we recommend:< - Sight & Sound - Spooky Nook - Lancaster Marriott + Convention Center - Dutch Wonderland and Hershey Park - Tanger Outlets (Kate Spade, Nike + many more shops) - Turkey Hill Experience - Escape on Queen - Fulton Theater - Clipper Magazine Stadium
Local Churches + Wedding Venues: - Excelsior - St. Mary's - Tellus360 - Cork Factory Hotel - Mulberry Art Studios - Groff Event Center
We commonly see guests come to Lancaster City for weddings, family trips, conventions, holiday travel, tournaments and much more! :)

The property is perfect. We were very happy with the space. It’s beautiful, clean and comfortable. We stayed in the winter, but when the weather is warmer I’m sure the patio and yard are are great too!
Upon arrival, we were very impressed with the bright, welcoming and cleanliness of the home. We thoroughly enjoyed how close it was, too so many things like coffee, shops, the park, restaurants, and convenience stores. It was exactly what we were looking for and more.
Besides small amount of dust on the ledge of pictures in living room everything else was great!! Location was very close to our daughter’s dance competition site. Parking wasn’t the greatest but was brought to our attention on the initial listing of BnB. Owner was very communicative with us throughout our stay!! Would recommend over and over again!!
Great place with all the amenities of home away from home. The entire house looked brand new and very clean. We were there for a business trip and convention so the location was perfect. Just a short walk to the Convention Center and Lancaster's downtown shops, nightlife, and great restaurants. We hope to stay again soon.
Great communication with owner and no issues with check in/out. Parking can be tricky as the roads are narrow. The home itself was the perfect size, it was a cute space and it was very clean!
We are a family of 6, and had a great stay at this house - it is really fresh and clean, has spacious, nice bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms, and a great open concept kitchen and living room with a comfy sectional couch. I would definitely recommend it!
The home was clean and in good condition. Amenities were up to date and especially appreciated the little extras like coffee, laundry detergent, etc. The hosts seemedniceParking was difficult st times as the street parking fills up and spaces are hard to find.
This home was just as described! We appreciated the ease of check in and the cleanliness of the home. The lack of parking (which was accurately described in the listing) was our only bummer. Thanks for a comfortable stay!
This house was great! Well-appointed, clean and comfortable and really convenient to everything in Lancaster. Parking seemed like it could be tight, but it was fine - always found a spot within a block of the house. The owner was super communicative and flexible and kind. Would definitely stay here again.
Lovely beautifully renovated brick row house. Super Nice on the Inside, comfortable, clean, well appointed.
Really close to Franklin & Marshall.
Wish there was some kind of assigned parking.
The house is ideal for small groups. Around 4 or fewer. It is super modern inside with all the amenities needed for short or medium stays. The neighborhood is urban and crowded but the access to downtown Lancaster is great. Parking can be an issue if driving more than one car.
This is an original 2 story row house as a lot of other Lancaster homes. Inside is wonderfully updated and decorated. Very comfortable. Modern bathrooms and kitchen. There is a bed/bath on the main floor if you cannot do stairs. Krista was very responsive for any questions we had. We enjoyed activities in Lancaster. There are a lot of one way streets though so a GPS is essential.Tours of the Amish community are very interesting.
This newly renovated home was the perfect mix of modern style and comfort. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. We cooked breakfast every morning in the well appointed kitchen. There is plenty of pantry space for a weeks worth of groceries. The sectional sofa was very comfortable watching tv or just relaxing.
Krista was an excellent host. She responded quickly to all of my emails. She also has great information in a notebook about the house and local shops and restaurants.
A great place for a relaxing vacation!
I’d like to start off by saying that we were surprised at the location of this, it being in the city we thought at first it would be very noisy and dumpy, but the house itself is beautifully renovated and clean and lovely to stay in. Parking we thought would be a big issue, but we always seem to find a place within very close walking distance for the week. It was very centrally located to the central market, and. The Sight and sound theater, which is a definite must to see if you’re in the area. Also, the Turkey hill experience was great especially if you have kids, we enjoyed it as adults. Would definitely love to come back at another time.
We had a really fun visit to Dutch Wonderland this past weekend. The property was about 12 min from Dutch Wonderland. The property was very clean, everything was updated, and there was plenty of space for two families with 3 children total. The kids enjoyed the blocks that were provided, and the kid's tent upstairs was a nice touch too!
Our only critique of the property was the location. We walked to get brunch one morning and felt the initial part of the walk was sketchy, so we wouldn't feel comfortable walking at night. Overall, we had a great visit!
Overall the home was nicely remodeled and fairly clean. There was some mildew in the upstairs shower and the pots and pans were not clean and were old and worn. The small upstairs “bedroom“ is not suitable for adults with the low, slanted ceiling. The fan in the larger upstairs bedroom was missing a paddle and was unusable. Other than those small things the beds and pillows were comfy, linens and towels nice and clean.
The home was very cute and comfortable . The bathrooms were very nice but they weren’t very clean. The house is 10 minute walk from the center of DT Lancaster shops and restaurants. The neighborhood where the house is located is fine during the day and the parking situation is not good because it’s street parking in a residential neighborhood. The listing clearly talked about the parking situation. Owner was communicative and apologetic, she was willing to address the cleanliness of the bathrooms but we chose to not have them cleaned because we were checking out.
Excellent host and one of the cleanest vrbo’s we’ve rented - excellent job there! The house was exactly as described and had everything done as detailed. That’s an huge bonus for mom dad with four kids ages 7-15!! Outside on street and neighborhood was not as clean with trash on the sidewalks and in the street. This isn’t the owners fault (owner is elevating the street- lifting it up with some others) but something to think about if you are accustomed to rentals where you let your kids go outside to walk neighborhood or to play. We wanted to stay in the city on this trip and admittedly not something we are used to. Didn’t walk anywhere but that was mainly due to distance to the events we had planned. At this unit the back yard was nice and secure safe for all children. As mentioned by others parking is a challenge but it’s like that for everyone and even with all our coming and going we never had to park more than half block away even with a very large 8 passenger suv. So don’t fear the parallel parking as a challenge but I wouldn’t leave keys in the switch or the windows down.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Neighborhood is less than desirable
The inside of the property was as pictured; clean, modern and neat. The patio and backyard were dingy and scattered with litter (empty vape cartridge), glass shards and old metal. The street parking was a bit precarious and there were signs regarding street cleaning every 2nd and 4th Thursday between 8:30-11:30, so something to be aware of. The description mentions that there are locations that are walkable from the property, I would definitely take that statement with a grain of salt. The neighborhood is economically depressed, garbage riddled and we felt unsafe. We chose not to stay the entire planned trip and forwent 3 nights to check into a hotel. My expectations were higher for a property that received a 9.8 rating.
